Corps Recovery Center

The CRC is The Salvation Army of Baton Rouge’s alcohol and drug rehabilitation program designed to help men of all ages overcome their addictions.

By providing counseling, medical assistance, food, shelter, and most importantly, spiritual guidance, the program successfully helps men rebuild their lives.

Designed in conjunction with The Salvation Army’s Family Thrift Store as a work therapy program, the CRC helps men overcome the addiction as well as the major cause of homelessness.

Next Step Transitional Housing

The lack of affordable housing and sufficient support structure makes life difficult for individuals moving from rehabilitation back into life on their own.

In the Next Step transitional housing program, men who have completed a rehabilitation program live in transitional housing while working, saving money and rebuilding their lives.
